We are so extremely grateful for the very positive reception to our first two books.Feedback from parent and children has been so overwhelmingly positive. Theyloved the pictures and loved having the books read aloud to them. Akira, of course,was thrilled and excited to share her book with all the children that came to thelaunch. They say when you are busy, time flies! I still can’t believe it is flying so fast! Welaunched Wordsmith Jr, LLC in 2015 to the greater Bay Area community with a funafternoon of balloons, face painting and healthy snacks for the children; plus, greatfood for thought for the adults. We are actively and excitedly creating additional materials and curriculum to beincluded on this website in the near future. Our materials are intended to supportthe growth and development of children with an emphasis on their language skills.Unfortunately, in some schools children are not expected to perform at high levels.As parents (and grandparents) we must educate ourselves about what childrenshould be doing at what age so we can better prepare them to reach their maximumpotential.
