Akira’s Book Club is excited to teach Black History and promote literacy to children. We are honored to be presenting at the following schools:

February 15 at New Highland Academy in Oakland in Ms. Joanna Davis’s 2nd grade class

February 24 at Wilson Elementary School in Richmond in each of the Pre K and K classes

February 25 at Martin Luther King, Jr Elementary School in Oakland – a literacy talk to parents

February 26 at Burkhalter Elementary School in Oakland, CA – a literacy talk to parents
